About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Comp Serv Cook-Hourly to join our team at Residence Inn Baton Rouge. As a Comp Serv Cook-Hourly, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide variety of dishes for our guests. You will work closely with our kitchen team to ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards and delivered on time. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be critical to your success in this role. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience as a cook in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

• Culinary degree or certification
• Experience working in a hotel or restaurant kitchen
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes for our guests
• Ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards and delivered on time
• Work closely with our kitchen team to ensure that all food is prepared and served in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Skills:
As a Comp Serv Cook-Hourly, you will use your culinary skills and knowledge to prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes for our guests. You will also use your communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with our kitchen team and ensure that all meals are prepared and served in a timely manner. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be critical to your success in this role. Additionally, your knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines will allow you to create unique and delicious dishes for our guests. Finally, your ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude will contribute to the success of our hotel.
