Job OverviewnnThe Quality Engineer will develop new product qualifications, analyze defect trends, provide component approval and regulatory agency support, conduct product audits, and investigate and evaluate customer complaints.nnA Day In The LifennDevelop new product qualification test plans in accordance with engineering specificationsnPerform life, acceptance, and first production tests.nReport results at periodic intervals, including: problems, areas of concern, failures.nPrepare inspection, test plans, and equipment requirements.nUnderstand and interpret Engineering drawings, schematics and functional specifications to develop appraisal processes that assure product quality.nAnalyze yield trends and defect data to determine process, component, or design problems.nDetermine process, component, or design problems.nRequest corrective action and follow-up to measure the effectiveness of action taken.nProvide quality technical support (approval/disapproval) for MDN - Material Deviation Notice, and PPR – Production Problem Report.nReview Engineering Notices and update test and inspection procedure to conform.nProvide component approval support for existing products.nProvide regulatory agency support to the organization released products.nAudit finished goods.nInvestigate, evaluate, and report customer complaints.nOther duties as assignednnWhat will help you thrive in this role?nnAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.nAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
