Job Description
  • Develop, implement, and maintain environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards.
  • Lead incident investigations and develop corrective and preventive actions.
  • Facilitate safety training and awareness programs for employees.
  • Manage reporting and documentation related to EHS activities and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety practices into daily operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety and environmental performance.
  • Oversee emergency preparedness and response planning.
  • Monitor and analyze EHS metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Significant experience managing EHS programs within aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT) and industry-specific compliance standards.
  • Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, lead incident investigations, and manage corrective actions.
  • Experience developing and delivering comprehensive safety training and awareness programs.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels and foster a safety culture.
  • Relevant certifications such as CSP, CIH, or NEBOSH preferred.
  • Proficiency with EHS management systems, audit protocols, and data reporting tools.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement and safety performance initiatives.
