Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Lead - Direct Hire - $120-$140k - Trumbull, CT location - Immediate opening
We're seeking an experienced EHS Lead to oversee and elevate environmental, health, and safety programs. This role is key to ensuring regulatory compliance, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a proactive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage EHS strategies, policies, and programs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO 45001, and other regulations.
- Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Conduct internal audits and support external inspections.
- Develop and deliver EHS training across all levels.
- Supervise EHS personnel and mentor junior staff.
- Support capital projects and emergency preparedness planning.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years in EHS roles within manufacturing or distribution.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Professional certifications (CSP, CIH, NEBOSH) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and ISO standards.
- Proficient in MS Office; excellent communication and leadership skills.

Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year
