LotusWorks, a global leader in providing engineering and technical services to advanced manufacturing industries, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic EHS Professional to join our US Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) team as an EHS-Coordinator! We are seeking candidates with 1-3 years of professional EHS experience eager to advance their careers in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
As an EHS Coordinator you will work alongside the US EHS Specialist, playing an active role in promoting safety culture & awareness across multiple client sites. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your EHS expertise in an advanced manufacturing environment, lead key projects, and contribute to meaningful safety improvements.
Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze employee Good Catch safety logs to identify trends and improvement opportunities and reward proactive safety awareness.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and conduct training sessions for site personnel.
  • Lead or support site safety audits and inspections, helping identify potential risks and corrective actions.
  • Inspect work equipment and fall protection gear for compliance and readiness.
  • Track arc flash and electrical PPE gear inventory and manage replacement/changeout schedules.
  • Coordinate the inspection and procurement of PPE, ensuring site-based employee needs are supported and aligned with company standards.
  • Collaborate closely with site leads and safety representatives to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Review and maintain employee safety records and documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Create safety toolbox talks, weekly safety messages and prepare power points on various safety related topics to be shared with teams and promote various EHS initiatives.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
Skills Required:
  • Strong understanding of safety compliance, hazard identification, and risk assessment practices.
  • Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Working at Heights programs is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with EHS management systems and learning management systems is a plus (IDEAGEN, Absorb, etc.)
  • Ability to travel (interstate) to sites to conduct audits of employee safety protocol and site safety culture
Education / Licenses / Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree or other relevant qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in occupational safety, environmental health, or a similar EHS role in construction project experience or advanced manufacturing industries.
  • ASP, OHST, CHST, or other such certifications are a plus.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification required.
  • Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.

Salary
$65,000-$75,000 USD
