Job Description
In the Manufacturing Engineer role, you will be responsible for:
  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes for cost, quality, and efficiency
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production and equipment issues
  • Support new product launches, including process planning and team training
  • Design and optimize tooling, fixtures, and equipment
  • Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and support capital planning
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and visual management enhancements
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure process reliability and safety

The Successful Applicant
A successful Manufacturing Engineer applicant will:
  • Have a strong background in manufacturing or process engineering
  • Be hands on, proactive, and solutions focused on the plant floor
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills through root cause analysis and troubleshooting
  • Be skilled in tooling, fixture design, and CAD drawing
  • Apply continuous improvement tools such as Lean, DMAIC, and visual management (e.g., Gemba boards)
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance and production
  • Adapt to changing priorities and support multiple areas such as metal finishing or plant-wide operations
  • Hold a degree in Engineering or a related technical field
  • Have 2-3 years of experience for junior-level roles or 5+ years for senior-level consideration
