Our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Cincinnati, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with experience working with rotary equipment to join their team. This is a key technical role focused on improving equipment reliability, supporting capital projects, and ensuring compliance with safety and mechanical integrity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

    n
  • Ensure full compliance with plant safety policies and contribute to a culture of safety excellence.
    • n
  • Lead or participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for equipment failures—particularly rotating machinery.
    • n
  • Support maintenance teams with technical guidance for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
    • n
  • Improve Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) by contributing to reliability improvement plans using historical failure data.
    • n
  • Assist with capital project planning and execution in collaboration with Project Engineering.
    • n
  • Manage and execute mechanical integrity programs, including inspections of pressure vessels, piping, and rotating assets in accordance with industry standards.
    • n
  • Update and maintain preventive maintenance plans, equipment hierarchies, and bill of materials in SAP.
    • n
  • Support performance tracking and lifecycle management of mechanical seals across a large base of rotating equipment.
    • n
  • Contribute to SPCC compliance through visual and ultrasonic inspections and risk assessment documentation.
    • n
  • Provide mentorship and supervision to mechanical engineering co-ops and interns.
    • n

Qualifications:

n
    n
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field ; relevant experience will also be considered.
    • n
  • Hands-on experience with rotating equipment in a manufacturing or process environment is essential.
    • n
  • Strong understanding of mechanical integrity programs and reliability-centered maintenance.
    • n
  • Familiarity with SAP or other CMMS platforms is a plus.
    • n
  • Proactive, safety-focused mindset with strong analytical and communication skills.
    • n
