Founded in 1972 Children's Services of Roxbury's (CSR) mission is to provide high quality services to economically disadvantaged children, youth, families, and individuals thereby promoting and strengthening family life and individual growth. CSR serves approximately 6,000 families across Massachusetts, serving families through four key services areas; Early Education and Care, Behavioral Health Services, Youth and Family Services and Housing and Stabilization. There are 22 programs operating under those four services areas. CSR operates across in 4 cities, has a staff of 400 employees, and an operating budget of $28M.

SUMMARY: Human Resources is looking for an outgoing and motivated individual to assist the HR Department in meeting our goals. The preferred candidate will thrive on maintaining a work environment that is representative of our core principles and that allows our high-performance teams to execute with excellence. The incumbent is responsible for the coordination and administrative support of day-to-day Human Resources operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The Director of Human Resources may designate various other activities. Program Coordination
• Coordinate employee programs such as health fair, charity initiatives, etc. This includes preparing and delivering communications to employees and outside parties, scheduling events, etc.
• Administer the new employee orientation process, which includes arranging speakers, preparing agenda, scheduling employees, booking meeting room, working with catering provider and outside vendors, etc. to ensure a smooth event.
• Conduct on-boarding with new employees to complete and review all required paperwork and documents and answer any employee inquiries.
Candidate Communication
• Compose and send rejection letters/emails
• Prepare and send offer and orientation packages
• Perform other projects as assigned
OnBoarding
• Manage the ADP onboarding module
• Manage employee IDs, assign and disable access badges
• Update Employment Application and related forms in compliance with applicable laws and best practices
• Works with Human Resources team members to coordinate on-boarding and orientation process
• Ensure regular scheduling of the orientation/on boarding program and attendance by employees
Benefits
• Process all employee benefit enrollment and changes, which includes processing all paperwork, coordination with vendors and entering all data into HRIS.
• Reconcile and process benefit invoices.
HRIS
• Update and maintain all personnel information, such as hires, promotions, demotions, transfers, terminations, salary changes, personal data changes, etc. in the ADP Human Resources Information System ("HRIS") and third party systems, and run reports as needed.
Administration
• Provide general administrative support to the department
• Responsible for the timely filing, maintenance and processing of confidential personnel records.
• Process income verifications
• Schedule and assist with set-up for trainings and information sessions
• Assist new applicants with necessary paperwork
• Work closely with HR Manger and HR Director on other projects as needed
Other Related Duties
• As a department liaison, respond to internal and external inquiries as requested.
• Other related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Expected to work independently, with moderate day-to-day supervision. Goal setting, management oversight and performance evaluation will be provided by the Director of Human Resources.

• Prior experience using an HRIS preferred.

WORK SCHEDULE: The work schedule for this position typically consists of 8 hours per day Monday through Friday; however, the hours and days may fluctuate based upon the needs of an event or project, which would require the ability to work a flexible schedule including late nights, early mornings, long days, weekends and holidays.
