Responsibilities:
- Deliver high quality patient care through patient facing role.
- Withdraw blood efficiently and accurately from patients by means of venipuncture/skin puncture.
- Performs various routine clerical, data entry duties, process various types of specimens for transport.
- Maintain the specimen logs, schedule transport pick up for urgent specimens, manage specimen drop offs internal/external and inventory and ordering of supplies.
- Interact with medical staff and other staff and other clinics or support operations/back-office personnel.
- Deal regularly with patients and other visitors to ensure excellent internal and public relations.
- Experience 6 months in phlebotomy and MA.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant Program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or willing to obtain by date of hire.
- Bilingual English and Spanish, Phlebotomy certification, Electronic Medical Records experience (EMR)
