Location: Provo, UT 84601
Pay Rate: $20 - $24/hour (commensurate with experience)
Employment Type: Contract (with potential for extension)
Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Medical Assistant to join a dynamic, patient-centered healthcare team in Provo, UT . The ideal candidate will bring at least one year of hands-on clinical experience, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for supporting both patient care and health education initiatives. Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient intake and record vital signs
• Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture and collect lab specimens
• Assist healthcare providers during exams and procedures
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR system
• Support health education and community outreach efforts
• Maintain cleanliness and stock in exam rooms and clinical areas
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient day-to-day operations
• Comply with HIPAA and infection control protocols

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical medical assistant experience (excluding externship)
• Proficient in phlebotomy/venipuncture
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills
• Demonstrated interest in patient education and preventive care

Certifications:

• Medical Assistant Certificate - Required
• BLS/CPR Certification - Required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA )
• Experience in Occupational Health
