AWS/CES is seeking an Industrial Electrician for a machinery manufacturing client in Fort Lauderdale, FL

- Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
- Schedule: Temp to Hire/ 6am start
- Compensation: $28-$30 per hour DOE
- PLC systems experience required
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems including 3-phase motors, relay logic, and CNC controllers
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics to install and upgrade equipment
- Test and repair electronic controllers, machine tools, and programmable systems
- Support mechanical systems as needed and perform work from ladders or elevated positions
- Participate in preventive maintenance programs to ensure ongoing equipment reliability
- Proven experience with industrial motors, VFDs, relay logic, and electronic/CNC controls
- Strong ability to read schematics, diagnose electrical issues, and perform system repairs
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights or in physically demanding conditions
- Must complete a 21-question electrical skills quiz
- Must pass pre-employment screening (drug test, background check, references, MVR)
