Tesis USA LLC, is hiring candidates for a Junior automation engineer position in Houston, TX, with the following knowledge and abilities:

n
    n
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronic or similar
  • n
  • 1 to 4 years of experience in the electrical and automation industrial environment (this is a must).
  • n
  • Knowledge of Low and high voltage, power and electrical supply on the production/industrial process.
  • n
  • The ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
  • n
  • Knowledge in Rockwell automation technologies (Allen bradley), PLC programing and HMI design is a must (The candidate will be evaluated on this topic).
  • n
  • Proven initial experience in electrical cabinet mounting, terminations and conduit.
  • n
  • Conduct routine tests, evaluate plant machinery and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and instrumentation issues.
  • n
  • maintain sensors, critical process production equipment and ensure the proper communication of them with PLC.
  • n
  • Ensure the correct operation of equipment s and their connectivity (power and network).
  • n
  • Maintain strict maintenance schedules for critical systems, logging all repairs and inspections.
  • n
  • Quickly identify non-operative and malfunctioning systems before damage can occur.
  • n
  • Must have Electrical Experience.
  • n
  • Must be able to use diagnostic tools for the analysis of the solution of automation problems. (This is required)
  • n
  • Sequential PLC programming.
  • n
  • Knowledge of PLC and HMI communication networks: Profinet, Ethernet, ControlNet, Devicenet, Profibus DP, Modbus Plus, etc.
  • n
  • System diagnostic programming.
  • n
  • Advanced level knowledge of the use of hardware/software for Scadas.
  • n
  • Troubleshoot test failures to determine root causes and develop processes to avoid repeat failure.
  • n
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • n

Responsibilities and Duties:

    n
  • Electrical field activities
  • n
  • Electrical Commissioning
  • n
  • Troubleshoot, enhance and support electrical field engineering team
  • n
  • Ensure quality and compliance to parameters and codes.
  • n
  • Interact with electrical engineers and staff members to identify, define and resolve developmental issues
  • n
  • Specifies materials for procurement and monitors material procurement processes to ensure timeliness to support scheduled construction
  • n
  • Reviews and interprets design drawings and specifications to ensure current revision level, and correct technical execution of the work
  • n
  • Understand electrical schematics and locate equipment in the production area
  • n
  • Use of electrical tools to understand issues and correct them
  • n
n

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
