This position plays a key role in providing friendly and efficient service while maintaining food safety standards and cleanliness in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items such as hot dogs, hamburgers, fries, and sandwiches to order.
- Operate grill, fryer, and other basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure food is presented properly, maintaining portion sizes and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of food prep area, grill station, equipment, and service window.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and resort procedures and guidelines.
- Assist in receiving and stocking food and supply deliveries as needed.
- Provide excellent guest service to all golfers and guests in a fast-paced setting.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate low stock or supply needs to management.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while working independently.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
- Previous experience as a cook or in a fast-casual kitchen environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of basic food handling, preparation, and sanitation.
- Excellent guest service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to handle high-volume rushes.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Must be able to work in outdoor conditions including heat, humidity, and exposure to the elements.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motion required.
- This role is based outdoors at a golf course turn station and requires working in various weather conditions.
- Must be comfortable interacting with golfers and resort guests.
