This is a strategic role for someone ready to step into leadership, mentor junior engineers, and eventually grow into a Director of Engineering position.n Key ResponsibilitiesnnConduct detailed power system studies: short circuit, load flow, coordination, arc flash, and voltage drop.nBuild and analyze electrical system models using ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower.nCollaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions.nProvide quality control and peer reviews for electrical designs and studies.nMentor junior engineers in design practices, analysis methods, and project execution.nRepresent the team in client meetings, proposal development, and design charrettes.nnRequired QualificationsnnBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.nMinimum 7 years of experience in electrical design for commercial buildings, with a focus on power systems.nProficiency in SKM Power Tools, ETAP, or EasyPower.nStrong leadership and mentorship capabilities.nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.nPE license or EIT with ability to obtain PE shortly after hire.nn Ideal Candidate Profilenn15+ years of experience with a PE license.nProven leadership or management experience.nAt least 5 years of hands-on Power System Analysis.nStable work history – candidates with frequent job changes (1–3 years per role) will not be considered.nDetail-oriented and capable of growing into a Director-level role.nnConsidered Candidatesnn7+ years of experience with PE or EIT actively pursuing PE.nStrong design background with interest in transitioning into Power System Analysis.nDemonstrated leadership traits and ability to quickly learn SKM studies and grow into a leadership role.nn Note: This is not a power and lighting design role. Design work is minimal and limited to adjustments and minor redesigns in AutoCAD.n Career PathnThis role is designed to evolve into a Director of Engineering position.
