Job Description
nA large manufacturing client supporting the Semiconductor industry in Chandler, AZ is looking to hire an EHS Manager directly responsible for supporting and implementing safety initiatives across major production sites. In this role you will be directly responsible for:
nEnsures that EHS Management System and strategy are effectively implemented in all sites in the region.
nensures that site based safety professionals are appointed, obtains the qualification and develops the necessary skills required by the relevant legislation and governance codes.
nWorks with local management to manage a long term sustainable approach to the assessment of all risks, the recording of such risks and the swift introduction of measures to minimize such risks, both preventative and protective.
nEnsures that local management operates a streamlined and effective SHE reporting system which will allow the monitoring of site H&S performance against lagging, but especially leading indicators
nEnsures that the design and implementation of all EHS programs are successful in involving all employees; especially in informing, development and training.
nParticipates in EHS Performance quarterly/annual reviews, to provide input and advice
nUndertakes investigations into serious incidents which may have a negative effect on the region & report as appropriate.
nThis role can pay between $105k-130k dependand on experience.
nThis role requires 10% travel to the 2nd production site in Nogales, MX

n10 years of experience within safety for a manufacturing environment.
n5 years of direct safety management experience
nSkilling in performing ISO and safety audits
nISO Certified
nExperienced in managing safety programs across large sites
nHas a valid passport, and is willing and able to drive to the secondary location in Nogales, MX. Bilingual
nSemiconductor Manufacturing Experience
