Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant - Front & Back Office

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience and a proactive, dependable personality to join our clinical team. This dual-role position involves both front and back office responsibilities , working directly with physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and ready to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Patient Care Duties
- Room patients and collect vitals (weight, blood pressure, pulse, etc.)
- Assist physicians during exams and minor procedures
- Administer injections and vaccines as directed
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and medical equipment
- Maintain medical waste logs in compliance with regulations
- Greet and check patients in/out using EPIC EMR system
- Verify insurance and collect co-pays
- Obtain authorizations and process referrals
- Schedule appointments and manage incoming phone calls
- Scan documents and maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR)
- Prepare patient charts for daily visits
- Monitor and maintain inventory of office and medical supplies
- National Medical Assistant Certification (Required)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive, reliable, and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience using EPIC EMR
- Previous outpatient clinical experience
