POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Line Cook at Coppercrafts Tasting Room, you will be an essential part of the kitchen team, responsible for preparing and executing high-quality small plates and handhelds that complement our craft cocktail experience. This role focuses on day-to-day kitchen operations, including station prep, cooking, plating, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Working under the guidance of the Lead Line Cook and Tasting Room Manager, you'll help ensure smooth service and consistent food quality.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Set up and stock your assigned station with all necessary supplies before service.
  • Prepare, cook, and plate dishes according to established recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized station throughout your shift.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations consistently.
  • Support the kitchen team with prep work and restocking as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with the front-of-house and kitchen team to ensure seamless service.
  • Break down and clean your station at the end of service, including proper storage of leftovers and sanitation of tools and surfaces.
  • Uphold a positive, team-oriented attitude in a fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • One to two years of line cook experience, preferably in a tasting room, taproom, or casual fine dining setting.
  • Strong knife skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with proper food handling and kitchen safety procedures.
  • Passion for ingredient-driven, seasonal food.
  • Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to take direction, work efficiently, and adapt in a team setting.
  • Able to stand for long periods and occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
