Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic
Production & Supply Chain
Director
to lead the end-to-end process of transforming product ideas into tangible, high-quality automotive diagnostic tools. This individual will be responsible for planning, producing, and managing all aspects of the supply chain while ensuring product feasibility, practicality, quality, and cost-efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, supply chain optimization, and production management, along with a sharp understanding of industry trends and manufacturing best practices.
Key Responsibilities: • Oversee the full product realization process—from concept to final production—ensuring that every idea is translated into a functional, cost-effective, and manufacturable product • Evaluate and plan how each product will be produced, considering practicality, scalability, and quality • Manage all aspects of production, inventory control, and quality assurance to ensure smooth, timely operations • Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed and continuously improved for efficiency • Analyze and control product costs, including materials, labor, and logistics • Forecast, plan, and manage supply chain activities to minimize risk and reduce costs while maintaining product integrity • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and manufacturers to secure the best pricing and reliability • Ensure the continuous evolution and improvement of products through feedback, performance analysis, and market trends • Coordinate closely with R&D, Engineering, Sales, and Procurement to align production with business goals • Develop and enforce quality control processes to ensure consistency and compliance with industry standards • Leverage strong industry knowledge and networks to stay ahead of supply chain disruptions and sourcing opportunities
Required Experience & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or production planning • Minimum of 7+ years of experience working with electronics, mechanical components, or construction-related equipment • Strong understanding of production workflows, SOPs, and quality assurance systems • Proven ability to manage complex supply chains with a focus on risk mitigation and cost optimization • Experience handling procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation • Excellent project management, analytical, and organizational skills • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment • Strong knowledge of manufacturing trends, tools, and technologies relevant to automotive electronics
Qualifications: • Experience in the automotive diagnostics or electronics industry • Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain analytics tools • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus #INDTP2#INDSW
