We are seeking an experienced
Sr. Supply Chain Manager
to lead our supply chain operations in the food manufacturing sector. This critical role is responsible for optimizing our supply chain strategies, ensuring product quality, and driving efficiency to meet our production and customer satisfaction goals.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning : Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with company goals, focusing on cost efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Inventory Management : Oversee inventory planning, forecasting, and control to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste without compromising production needs. Vendor Management : Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure consistent quality and timely delivery of materials. Logistics & Distribution : Manage logistics functions, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure smooth flow and timely delivery of products. Continuous Improvement : Lead initiatives to enhance supply chain processes, leveraging data analytics to identify trends, streamline operations, and reduce costs. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with procurement, production, quality assurance, and other departments to align supply chain operations with overall business objectives. Compliance & Quality Control : Ensure all supply chain activities adhere to regulatory standards and quality guidelines specific to the food manufacturing industry. Team Leadership : Manage and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment. Qualifications:
Education : Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is a plus. Experience : Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in supply chain management within the food manufacturing industry, with a proven track record in a leadership role. Skills :
Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics. Proficient in ERP and supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
