Essential Functions The Shipping Clerk finalizes the loads once complete and generates the loading forms, packing lists and Bills of Lading. The Clerk also emails or communicates with customers and/or carriers when shipments/loads are ready for pick-up or have been shipped. Scan, process, and organize paperwork for loads as required. Compute freight and fuel costs per load and key into the system per shipment. The candidate will also be responsible for responding promptly and professionally to emails and phone calls from all customers in their territories. Must be detail oriented and a team player with the ability to prioritize and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Will be required to assist other team members when the workload warrants it. Duties/Responsibilities

Responsible for adding freight to most LTL loads for shipments Miscellaneous duties include: assisting with the billing of loads, answering phone calls from customers/salesmen regarding shipment , etc. Pooling all CPUs, DEJ, DLS, JDM SHPS, JBH, SOMO, and ZENH Correspond with each dealer by email Some dealers require "partial registering" for pickups:. Fill out & submit forms for shipping, USA and Canada Coordinate with trucking co. dispatchers and brokers to schedule date, time, and location for pickups. Process fabric and leather cut work orders in a timely manner for scheduling and production. Key in material transfers from other locations to Plant 3. Help with invoicing as needed. Pay rate will be based on experience.

Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software. Excellent telephone skills. Excellent time management skills. Detail oriented. High level productivity. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Two years sales service experience preferred. Furniture manufacturing experience a plus.
