HALO Staffing Group - Immediate Interviews - Top Hospitals - Great Pay
Great opportunity to join a specialty group as a Medical Staff Coordinator to assist and help manage the office staff. Will assist the practice manager and providers, ensure the facilitating flow of the front lobby and front desk area.
Pay Rate: $23-$25 per hour Days and hours: Monday, Wednesday Thursday mornings and Tuesday and Friday all day. 28 hours a weekLocation: Los Angeles, Ca. 90015
Job Duties: Work alongside of the office manager to assist with coordinating the overflow of patients in the lobby. Tracking overbooked schedules Mover around physician's schedules, calendaring as needed. Follow-up with no show patients, calling them to bring them back. Prepare and mail out correspondence letters to patients Ensure office staff gets back from their lunches or breaks on time. Making sure things are overall flowing correctly. This position is not necessarily doing patient scheduling or referral coordinating. Position Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent. Administrative experience is highly preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare credentialing requirements, ! Communicate effectively with practice manager and providers and staff Certification in medical staff services may be preferred
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Position requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Some patient assistance will be required. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone and other office equipment is also required. Employee must have normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.
