This position involves working 3x12-hour shifts, with rotating day and night schedules. The Med/Surg Tele RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing telemetry monitoring. Key Responsibilities: - Provide nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.- Interpret telemetry monitoring data and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.- Develop nursing care plans based on individual patient needs and implement appropriate interventions.- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information in electronic health records.- Adhere to established nursing practices, protocols, and standards to ensure patient safety and quality care. Qualifications: - Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience, with at least 18 months of permanent experience in this specialty prior to travel assignments.- A valid nursing license in Ohio or a compact state license must be in hand at the time of submission.- Current certifications, including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, are required.- Ability to work at least every other holiday.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
