Company Overview We are a fast-growing company in the road construction sector, seeking a skilled
Project Manager
to oversee civil construction and site development projects across private and public sectors. The role involves leading projects from pre-construction to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget, and maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Manage civil construction projects valued from $550K to $15M.
Oversee all phases of construction, including scheduling, budgeting, workforce planning, and subcontractor coordination.
Achieve project goals by managing labor, materials, subcontractors, change orders, and costs.
Monitor progress and performance, identifying opportunities for process improvements.
Supervise field activities directly or through team leads, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Maintain accurate project records and review daily logs for compliance.
Coordinate equipment, personnel needs, and logistics regularly.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and permit requirements.
Promote safety culture and enforce OSHA standards and company policies.
Support team development through staff training and performance feedback.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil construction project management, with public and private project exposure.
Knowledge of site development practices, scheduling software, cost control, and documentation.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems quickly, and deliver results.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project tracking tools.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience considered.
Valid Florida driver’s license and compliance with MVR standards.
Pre-employment drug screening and background check required.
