Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive staff accountant to manage the billing, collections, and cash application processes. The ideal candidate will ensure timely receipt of payments, maintain accurate financial records, and uphold strong relationships with customers and internal departments and reports to the Director of Finance.
Duties and Responsibilities: Managing the companys accounts receivable and helping with collections over 90 days Posting payments to the proper customer invoice within NetSuite Responsible for completing the monthly bank reconciliation Manage company vehicles registration/renewals, insurance and claims Monthly Optima Invoice Imports into NetSuite from Net Health Manage new state registrations and annual reporting for existing states Assist with month end close including preparation and posting general ledger entries when necessary Annual Insurance renewal and compliance Responsible for tracking and maintaining commission reporting and payments Perform other duties and special projects as needed
Competencies/Requirements: Strong computer skills, including solid experience with Microsoft Excel Strong understanding of the importance of internal controls Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to adapt and service multiple functions of the business office
Credentials: Degree in Accounting preferred 2+ years of accounts receivable or medical receivable experience Comfortable with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Must be detail oriented and have the ability to manage task in a fast-paced environment
