Advanced Systems Design is seeking an Security Analyst, Intermediate
for our client located in Montgomery, AL. This position is on-site in Tallahassee, FL, and requires in-person availability starting day 1. Job Overview: Our client requires the services of one Security Analyst to work under the direction of the Network Supervisor to assist in developing Continuity of Operation (COOP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans for all identified agency systems. The Security Analyst is expected to work with our staff to perform research, policy creation, conduct tabletop exercises, and support staff in transferring knowledge in these areas. Security Analyst responsibilities include: Establishing and continuously enhancing the COOP programs, plans, and processes for our client in conjunction with the Information Security Manager. Establishing and continuously enhancing the DR programs, plans, and processes for our client in conjunction with the Information Security Manager. Establishing and continuously enhancing the Risk Management programs, plans, and processes in conjunction with the Information Security Manager. Research mandates, regulations, and rules for Information Security requirements for the agency. Conduct interviews and information gathering meetings. Lead tabletop exercises relating to COOP, Risk Management, and DR in conjunction with the Information Security Manager. Establish applicable security policies and best practices. Required Experience: Minimum of 5 years of IT work experience with demonstrated knowledge in architecture design, software development, database management systems and systems integration in multi-platform environments. Experience drafting policies, disaster recovery and continuity of operations plans. Experience in information gathering sessions for technical requirements and leading technical tabletop exercises. Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience Advanced Systems Design, Inc. is: A leading Information Technology provider for Federal, State & Local government agencies. Compensation: $92,480-$102,000 per year
