Position Overview:
Oran is seeking a
Senior Power Platform Administrator
with strong experience in
enterprise architecture, capacity planning, and governance
of the Microsoft Power Platform suite to support a mission-critical Department of Defense program. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who can combine hands-on administration with strategic oversight of a large, secure Power Platform environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and oversee the design, governance, and performance of Power Platform environments (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages).
Lead
capacity planning , scaling strategies, and optimization of platform resources across environments.
Enforce and maintain
DLP policies, security standards , and compliance with DoD data governance requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define the platform’s
roadmap, licensing, environment strategy , and long-term vision.
Manage environment provisioning, Dataverse resources, and tenant configurations at enterprise scale.
Use
PowerShell and Admin connectors
to automate administrative tasks and reporting.
Provide strategic guidance to business and development teams on best practices for Power Platform usage.
Support ongoing system monitoring, incident resolution, and performance tuning.
Mentor junior administrators and developers to promote consistent platform practices.
Required Qualifications:
Active DoD Secret Clearance
8+ years of experience in IT, with 3+ years focused on Power Platform Administration
Strong experience with
Power Platform architecture, environment design , and
capacity planning
Proficient with
PowerShell , Power Platform Admin Center, and DLP/security configuration
Expertise in
Dataverse , custom connectors, and M365/Azure integrations
Familiarity with federal compliance standards (e.g., FedRAMP, IL4/IL5 environments)
Experience supporting
DoD or federal programs
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Certifications: PL-600, PL-400, MS-100
Experience with
ALM
for Power Platform, Azure DevOps pipelines, and managed environments
Background working with
secure cloud
and DoD-accredited platforms
