Supports the organization in management of design, build and configuration of clinical information systems. Provides guidance in capture, communication and use of patient data and clinical knowledge by physicians and clinicians in development and implementation of electronic tools to support the whole cycle of clinical information. Management skills to handle multiple projects and delegate to and direct staff. Analytical skills to collect and research data; problem solving to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; oral and written communication skills. Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, exhibit sound and accurate judgment. Uses time efficiently, reacts well under pressure, treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position, able to deal with frequent change or unexpected events, punctual, proficient in Microsoft Suite of software. Knowledge of the Altera Sunrise Clinical Manager and/or Enterprise Touchworks EHR systems preferred. Required Experience
Required: Completion of a bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university in informatics (or a related field) or healthcare management (or a related field) Strong clinician with knowledge of hospital and physician practice workflow Progressive experience developing/configuring/using clinical systems, with emphasis on large vendor systems (Allscripts, Cerner, EPIC, Meditech, etc.) Active CA Clinical License required Preferred: Master's degree Nursing background Minimum Salary
