Addison Group is working with a reputable and growing construction company seeking to add a Payroll Specialist to their team. This is a direct hire role with excellent opportunities for advancement. $75,000 annually Benefits: Comprehensive benefits offered through the client company Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan options Health, dental, and vision insurance Job Description: The Payroll Specialist will oversee in-house payroll processing for both office and field staff, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role will also support certified payroll requirements and assist with payroll-related tax filings. Key Responsibilities: Process bi-weekly in-house payroll for all employees Review, validate, and update timesheets and payroll data Handle certified payroll reporting and job cost allocations Upload payroll data to banking systems for direct deposits Maintain records for garnishments, deductions, and tax payments Prepare and file federal and state payroll tax returns Manage benefits, union dues, and other reconciliations Support certified payroll compliance platforms (e.g., LCP Tracker, DLLR) Maintain organized payroll records and reports Qualifications: 5+ years of payroll experience, including construction payroll Certified payroll knowledge strongly preferred Familiarity with job costing Sage 300 or similar payroll software experience is a plus Strong Excel skills Excellent attention to detail and communication abilities Interest in growing into a Payroll Manager role over time Additional Details: Schedule: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote Hours: 8:00 AM
