Position Overview
A full-time contract opportunity is available for a
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
to provide behavioral health services in a secure clinical environment in Delano, CA. This role offers consistent hours, with the potential to convert into a permanent state position offering full benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as clinician-of-the-day during scheduled workdays to respond to patient emergencies Conduct patient interviews and obtain detailed psychosocial and health histories Assess and document actual and potential diagnoses and treatment needs Plan, implement, and evaluate care based on clinical expertise and patient conditions Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in compliance with standards Ensure prompt response to patient inquiries and coordinate referral follow-ups Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, psychiatrists, and allied health professionals to deliver integrated care Required Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum of 12 continuous months of direct patient care within the last 3 years Licensure:
Valid California LCSW license (hard copy required) Certification:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Identification:
Valid photo ID, Drivers License, or Passport Benefits
