In this role, you will ensure an exceptional customer experience while meeting our sales goals.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high levels of customer satisfaction through outstanding service.
- Assisting customers in-store and over the phone by identifying their needs and recommending products.
- Building strong, trust-based relationships with both wholesale and retail customers.
- Accurately processing sales transactions in accordance with policies.
- Meeting sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Maintaining organized work order files and product formulas.
- Retrieving products from the sales floor or warehouse to fulfill orders.
- Mixing and tinting products to match customer specifications.
- Stocking shelves and creating attractive displays.
- Ensuring cleanliness of store equipment.
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks when needed.
- Assisting in deliveries as required.
- Keeping assigned areas in-stock and visually appealing.
- Staying informed about products and discussing available options with customers.
- Adhering to inventory control procedures.
- Providing suggestions for improving sales.
What We Are Looking For:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Legally authorized to work without needing sponsorship now or in the future.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish, able to read, write, and communicate effectively in both languages.
- Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Willingness to work all scheduled hours including evenings and weekends.
- If currently working for Sherwin-Williams, must have a performance appraisal rating of at least meets expectations.
- If presently employed, completion of all required HR Cloud eLearning courses.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
- Previous experience selling paint or paint-related products.
- Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
