Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled market analyst to join our Azure Business and Market Strategy team. This role is pivotal in uncovering valuable internal insights related to customer and competitive intelligence that can significantly inform Azure's strategic direction. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in cloud technologies, particularly with platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, and will be adept at analyzing complex data to extract actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with various Microsoft teams, support special projects, and contribute to executive communications, all while maintaining a proactive approach in a dynamic environment. Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled market analyst to join our Azure Business and Market Strategy team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in cloud technologies, particularly with platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, and will be adept at analyzing complex data to extract actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with various Microsoft teams, support special projects, and contribute to executive communications, all while maintaining a proactive approach in a dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities
Identify existing internal data sources and reports on customer and competitive intelligence. Proactively monitor internal Microsoft data sources and reports. Regularly connect with Microsoft teams that possess relevant intelligence (e.g., R&I, CXP). Analyze internal reports for strategic insights and create succinct summaries of key findings for the team. Attend weekly team discussions and contribute valuable insights. Support larger strategic projects through desk research. Assist the team in preparing key market updates for leadership. Draft essential deliverables for executive communications. Help establish an effective rhythm of business (ROB) for the team, including agenda management and tracking open items.
Requirements
10+ overall years of experience in the field required. Minimum 8+ years of experience with Cloud and AI technologies, especially Azure, AWS, or GCP. Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to distill complex reports into key findings. Extensive experience in the cloud technology space. Proactive self-starter who thrives in ambiguous situations. Excellent succinct writing skills for clear communication. Strategic thinker capable of connecting insights to broader narratives. Marketing experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Location: Redmond, WA (Hybrid: once a week at minimum/on a needed basis) Duration: 11 Months Pay Range: $63 - 71.50 per hour Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
