This role is vital for the growth and success of our retail operations. As a Customer Service Expert, you will engage closely with wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs, address their inquiries regarding Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend suitable solutions. Your focus will be on resolving customer concerns promptly to ensure maximum satisfaction while staying informed about product features. You will also uphold the high-quality and visual standards of store products.
Customer Service Experts are expected to deliver outstanding service while consistently achieving the store's sales goals. This position involves working with customers, including minors, and may involve access to cash, payment methods, and store merchandise, under both supervised and unsupervised conditions. Due to the nature of these responsibilities, a review of criminal history is necessary to protect our business, customers, staff, and the general public.

Build and maintain productive relationships with wholesale and retail customers. Accurately process sales transactions according to company policies. Consistently meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. Maintain accurate work order files and mix products as needed. Stock shelves and set up visually appealing displays. Keep store equipment clean and assist with delivery logistics. Ensure assigned areas are well-stocked and visually appealing. Stay informed about product offerings and options available to customers. Follow inventory control procedures diligently. Propose ideas to enhance sales performance. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work without sponsorship. Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and occasionally 70 lbs. Willingness to work scheduled hours including evenings and weekends. If currently with Sherwin-Williams, must have a recent performance appraisal rating of at least meets expectations. If currently with Sherwin-Williams, must have completed all required HR eLearning courses. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service. Experience in selling paint and related products. Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment. Ability to communicate in multiple languages. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
