The United States Border Patrol (USBP) is the mobile, uniformed law enforcement arm of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), responsible for securing U.S. borders between ports of entry. The Southwest Field Office (SWFO) seeks highly qualified subject matter experts to support logistics and warehouse operations. These professionals will collaborate as a team to help achieve the SWFO's mission objectives, maintaining technical, supervisory, and administrative personnel in accordance with the delivery schedule. The role involves providing logistics and warehouse support services, including warehouse logistics operations, property management, asset management, deployment, sustainment, and solutions engineering support. These services will vary based on project complexity. Responsibilities

Processing of Excess Assets

Guide and establish procedures for reporting and disposing of assets, including transfers within CBP, sales via GSA, donations, destruction, or abandonment, ensuring regulatory compliance and efficiency. Initiate and complete SF120 actions for excess assets, review packages for accuracy, route for approval, and support asset acquisition from GSA. Support inventory management, process shipments, coordinate logistics, maintain warehouse records, and oversee material handling equipment. Asset Management Support

Provide comprehensive asset management throughout the asset lifecycle, including receipt, inspection, deployment, and disposition. Prepare assets for deployment with proper documentation, oversee inventory reports, conduct physical inventories, and update asset records. Coordinate asset transfers and support logistics and warehouse operations as needed. Additional Duties

Escort duties, cargo security, inventory management, forklift support, vehicle transportation, and flexible work hours including occasional weekends. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. At least 3 years of related experience. Job Details
