Join our dynamic retail team as a Customer Service Associate, a crucial role that directly influences our success! In this position, you will work closely with both wholesale and retail customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions using Sherwin-Williams products. You will also handle customer inquiries, resolve concerns efficiently, and ensure a top-notch service experience that keeps our clients satisfied and engaged.
As a Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for:
Delivering exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations.
Assisting customers in person and over the phone by accurately assessing their needs and recommending appropriate products and services.
Building and maintaining trust-based relationships with wholesale and retail clientele.
Processing sales transactions in accordance with company policies.
Aiming to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
Maintaining organized work order files and product formulas.
Managing inventory by pulling products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
Tinting and mixing products according to customer specifications.
Keeping store displays attractive and shelves stocked.
Cleaning equipment to uphold store standards.
Loading and unloading delivery trucks as required.
Assisting with deliveries when necessary.
Ensuring assigned areas are presentable and fully stocked.
Staying knowledgeable about our range of products and their features.
Following inventory control protocols diligently.
Suggesting innovative ideas for improving sales performance.
We require that you:
Be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Legally authorized to work in the country without needing future sponsorship.
Possess a valid and unrestricted Driver's License.
Be able to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred qualifications include:
A High School diploma or GED.
At least one year of experience in a retail or customer service role.
Experience selling paint and related products.
Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment.
Proficiency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish.
