$150,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr A great UHY client is seeking a
Plant Controller
to join their team. The ideal candidate will have their CPA/MBA, plant controllership experience, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong Excel experience. The
Plant Controller
role is an onsite position. This is a client direct hire position. Lead monthly accounting close, including reviewing journal entries and preparing financial reports. Oversee general ledger accounts for the site, ensuring reconciliations and accurate analysis in partnership with shared services. Manage forecasting and budgeting processes, coordinating with plant management, finance teams, and corporate functions. Prepare monthly financial analyses, KPIs, and track financial improvement initiatives. Review and approve the financial impact of cost-saving and improvement projects. Manage the capital spending budget, including evaluating business cases for expenditures. Oversee annual standard cost updates for packaging and distribution, collaborating with related facilities and vendors. Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with company policies and requirements. Support internal and external audits. Take on additional projects or responsibilities as needed. Ensure compliance with global financial policies, US GAAP, and local reporting requirements. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 8+ years in finance or cost accounting within a manufacturing or distribution setting, including at least 2 years in a leadership role. Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred). Basic familiarity with financial consolidation tools (OneStream preferred). Strong skills in analyzing data using Microsoft Office tools. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
