The Diabetes Operating Unit focuses on improving the lives of those within the global diabetes community. We strive to empower people with diabetes to live life on their terms by delivering meaningful innovation and providing tailored support. Our portfolio aims to give greater freedom and better health, helping customers achieve optimal glucose control with less disease management. As part of our separation from our parent company, Medtronic, we are building a standalone organization. We seek an experienced Vice President, Global Infrastructure Technology and Ops, to lead the establishment, transition, and operation of a future-fit infrastructure landscape and drive technological enablement of core business functions. We foster a culture of professional growth and collaboration, requiring a minimum of 3 days onsite per week. Job Summary

The Vice President will oversee and evolve the company's global technology infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security across cloud and data centers, networks, digital workplace services, service desk operations, and collaboration platforms. The role involves strategic modernization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement to support growth and transformation. Key Responsibilities

Technology and Infrastructure Operations Leadership

Oversee global cloud and data center operations ensuring high availability and security. Lead network strategy and operations for corporate and manufacturing environments. Manage digital workplace services, including endpoint management, identity access, and productivity tools. Ensure top-tier service desk and IT support, emphasizing user experience and automation. Manage collaboration and communication platforms for seamless global connectivity. Strategic Leadership and Optimization

Develop a modernization roadmap aligned with business goals and emerging tech. Drive cost efficiencies and performance improvements via cloud optimization and automation. Balance on-premises and cloud capabilities with hybrid infrastructure strategies. Partner with security teams to maintain best-in-class security, risk, and compliance standards. Lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning. Operational Excellence & Team Leadership

Build and lead a high-performing global infrastructure team. Establish KPIs for service quality, reliability, and user experience. Implement ITSM best practices, leveraging automation and AI. Manage vendor and partner relationships to maximize value. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Align with business units, IT leadership, and functional leaders on technology strategies. Collaborate with security teams on security best practices. Support enterprise systems like ERP, Finance, and HR. Optimize IT spend and resource allocation with finance and procurement. Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related; MBA preferred. 15+ years in infrastructure leadership, including cloud, data centers, networks, and ITSM. Proven experience leading large-scale global IT operations. Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), hybrid IT, security, and ITIL. Experience supporting manufacturing IT needs is a plus. Ability to drive transformation and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for senior leadership engagement. Why Join Us?
