Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional and technically fluent
Vice President of Business Development
to lead Thintronics’ commercial efforts across the AI compute and high-speed networking ecosystem. This role is responsible for identifying strategic opportunities, winning design-ins, and navigating qualification with the industry’s leading semiconductor, system, and packaging players. This position will work closely with the CTO and operations teams to align market needs with execution. Key Responsibilities 1) Develop and execute go-to-market strategy in AI, compute, and networking sectors 2) Identify and prioritize high-impact customer and partner opportunities 3) Lead technical-commercial discussions for adoption in: Switch ASICs, GPUs, and AI accelerators FPGAs (e.g., Xilinx) Optical modules, DSPs, high-speed SerDes RF/mmWave and advanced packaging (AIP, SIP, 2.5D/3D, CPO) Build trusted relationships across engineering, sourcing, and executive teams Negotiate commercial agreements and guide products from pilot to production Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver customer success and influence roadmap Preferred Qualifications 15+ years in semiconductor, compute, networking, or advanced packaging business development or sales Strong understanding of signal integrity, interconnects, and system-level performance Prior experience working with companies such as: Excellent communication skills with both technical and commercial audiences Self-starter, comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field; MBA a plus Full medical benefits Seniority level
