With consistent growth and the transition to second-generation leadership, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our Durham location to new heights. What We’re Looking For: We’re in search of a hands-on leader who is passionate about food, service, and people. This role is ideal for a results-driven manager with strong kitchen leadership experience, a commitment to cleanliness and operational excellence, and a dedication to fostering a warm, hospitality-focused culture that keeps guests coming back. Key Responsibilities: Kitchen & BOH Leadership:Lead and develop the kitchen team, setting clear expectations for food quality, cleanliness, and daily operational excellence. Hospitality & Guest Experience:Implement and sustain a customer-first culture, ensuring every guest receives warm, welcoming, and efficient service. Financial & Operational Management:Oversee inventory, food cost, labor scheduling, and P&L performance to drive efficiency and profitability. Team Development:Hire, train, and mentor FOH and BOH staff, fostering a team-oriented and positive work environment. Quality & Compliance:Maintain the highest standards in food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Growth & Brand Leadership:Drive sales, community engagement, and operational improvements to strengthen the Durham location’s reputation. What You Bring to the Table: 4+ years of proven restaurant management experience, with strong kitchen and team leadership skills. Experience managing food cost, labor scheduling, and inventory. Strong understanding of financials, including P&L oversight, cost control, and sales forecasting. Ability to lead by example, motivate teams, and uphold a high standard of excellence. Experience with driving in-store and catering sales growth in a developing market. Proficiency with Toast POS ServSafe Manager Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
