THE JOB
We are looking for a #TechTalent to work as an
Application Packaging Engineer
YOUR DAY TO DAY
. Plan and implement Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments. Package applications using tools like
AdminStudio ,
PSAppDeployToolkit ,
Advanced Installer , or
MSIX Packaging Tool . Create and maintain silent installation packages (MSI, EXE, MSIX, App-V). Customize and repackage legacy applications for compatibility with modern deployment platforms. Perform thorough testing and validation of packaged applications in staging environments. Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with application owners and end-users. Troubleshoot packaging and deployment issues across different Windows OS versions. Deploy and manage packages using
Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) ,
SCCM , or
Citrix Studio . Maintain accurate documentation for all packaged applications and deployment procedures. Ensure compliance with enterprise software standards and security guidelines. Work closely with infrastructure, security, and support teams to optimize deployment workflows.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Knowledge of Azure services and their functionalities Solid experience with
application packaging
(MSI, MSIX, App-V, EXE). Proficient with packaging tools like
AdminStudio ,
Advanced Installer , or equivalent. Hands-on experience with
SCCM ,
Intune , or other enterprise software deployment tools. Strong scripting knowledge using
PowerShell ,
VBScript , or
batch scripting . Familiarity with Windows Installer technology and application compatibility techniques. Ability to troubleshoot complex packaging and deployment issues. Experience working in enterprise environments with change management controls. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US
