SaaS Operations Director or Manager
to lead and oversee the day-to-day operational infrastructure of a fast-growing SaaS business. This person will be responsible for ensuring the systems, processes, teams, and tools across customer success, sales, product, finance, and marketing are aligned and running smoothly. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, systems-minded operator who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment and has experience scaling SaaS operations. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day business operations , driving execution across departments and ensuring cross-functional alignment.
Own and optimize internal systems including CRM (HubSpot), support platforms, billing tools, and analytics/reporting workflows.
Coordinate across teams to ensure timely delivery of customer onboarding, renewals, and internal processes.
Partner with leadership on OKRs, KPIs, project timelines, and performance metrics.
Implement SOPs and workflows to streamline and scale recurring processes.
Support the leadership team with weekly dashboards, forecasts, and operational status updates.
Drive operational excellence through documentation, automation, and data integrity.
Identify inefficiencies and proactively implement improvements in systems and communication loops.
Manage vendor relationships and tools related to finance, compliance, HR, and product ops.
Requirements 3–6+ years experience in SaaS operations, business operations, or startup general management.
Hands-on experience with SaaS systems such as
HubSpot , Notion, Slack, billing software (Stripe, etc.), support tools (e.g. Intercom, Zendesk), and project management software.
Strong organizational and analytical skills — able to simplify complexity and track multiple workstreams.
Excellent communicator with experience working cross-functionally in remote teams.
Proven ability to create and manage process maps, playbooks, documentation, and team alignment rituals.
Prior experience in a fast-paced, early-stage SaaS environment is .
Nice to Have Experience managing OKR planning cycles, GTM operations, or customer success systems
Familiarity with finance tools (QuickBooks, Ramp, etc.) or light HR operations
Comfortable working closely with founders and executive stakeholders
