CRM Tech Lead/Architect
Step into the role of CRM Technical Lead, where you will drive technology solutions for our Commercial Airplanes and Defense, Space & Security business units! In this exciting position, you will design and implement innovative solutions that enhance and integrate our customer information systems, empowering sales and marketing functions cross the enterprise while ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and security. Responsibilities: Accountable for the technical delivery of solutions related to customer information data management and customer relationship management applications, including data warehousing, Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes, and database management, as well as Salesforce CRM. Contribute to the AI roadmap through intelligent automation, supporting both CRM and non-CRM workstreams, such as Sales & Marketing Data Warehouse (SMDW) data architecture and analytics integration. Provide technical direction and mentorship to cross-functional teams, including junior developers and vendor partners. Lead architectural decisions for solutions spanning Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds, ensuring scalability and integration with enterprise data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift). Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce architectures and technical implementation plans. Guide sprint execution and backlog refinement using Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps. Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and elevate development quality through knowledge sharing and peer coaching. Collaborate with Data Architects to support data warehousing, analytics readiness, and unified customer data platforms. Ensure DevSecOps alignment by leveraging tools such as Copado, Gearset, and Git-based pipelines. Troubleshoot complex multi-cloud and cross-system issues while driving continuous improvement in performance and stakeholder satisfaction. Integrate Einstein AI, third-party ML models, and external APIs into Salesforce workflows to improve automation and insight delivery. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required (STEM disciplines preferred) 7+ years of experience in enterprise Salesforce solution delivery Experience in Salesforce CRM development, architecture, and solution delivery across Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds Experience in Salesforce integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Named Credentials) and integrating with external systems at scale Experience with Salesforce Data Modeling, large data volume management, and SMDW-aligned schema integration (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) Experience with Salesforce DX, Git-based source control, and CI/CD pipelines (Gearset, Copado, Jenkins) Experience with Salesforce Einstein (Prediction Builder, Bots, Discovery) and ability to integrate third-party AI/ML models into Salesforce workflows Experience in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce Flows with strong debugging and performance tuning Experience working with multi-cloud environments, partner communities, and managing metadata in regulated environments Preferred Qualifications: Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, Integration Architect, or equivalent (e.g., Sharing & Visibility Designer, Data Architecture Designer) Experience delivering Salesforce solutions in large, matrixed enterprises such as aerospace, manufacturing, or defense domains
