User Discovery
Requires knowledge of user experience strategies, interviews, surveys, journeys, storyboards, and contextual inquiries. Conduct interviews and surveys, assist in creating user journeys and storyboards, and analyze qualitative user data to understand user requirements and trends. Managing Functional Partnerships
Involves stakeholder identification, analysis, communication, engagement, and management. Understand stakeholder interests, analyze their needs, and establish credibility through regular engagement. Design Research
Requires understanding of research principles, data analysis, gap detection, and ethical considerations. Propose hypotheses, guide research processes, verify data reliability, and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Influencing and Building Stakeholder Consensus
Utilize communication skills, influence styles, and relationship-building to effectively communicate complex information, influence actions, and prepare clear reports. Driving Customer/Client Needs
Analyze user feedback, identify process improvements, and enhance customer experiences through journey mapping and process optimization. Usability Testing and Iteration
Understand testing scenarios, compile test plans, and explain testing objectives, including alpha and beta tests. Core Competencies and Values
Demonstrate expertise, build relationships, act with integrity, respect diversity, and strive for excellence through continuous improvement and innovation. Minimum Qualifications
Option 1: Bachelor's in UI/UX, design, computer science, or related with 2+ years of experience. Option 2: 4+ years of experience in relevant fields. Must provide proof of full vaccination or approved exemption as per CDC guidelines. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in product development, advanced degrees, industry experience, certifications, and knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive tech). Additional Information
