Description Reporting organisationally to the Executive Director, Host Cities, the Host City Director will be a key member of the FIFA26 Host Cities team. This critical role will ensure the efficient delivery of the FIFA World Cup 2026 in Dallas alongside internal and external stakeholders, focusing on transparency, communication, escalation, innovation, problem resolution and reporting. Dallas The Host City Director is FIFA26’s in-market lead representative and liaison with the Host City. They will have a coordinating, organizing, facilitating, arbitrating, and management role, responsible for delivery of operations and services in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, including the Host Committee. This role will work closely with the FIFA26 Inc. Director of Venue Operations in the Host City. Main Responsibilities: Ensure delivery of contractual agreements such as the Host City Agreement, Stadium Agreement, Training Site Agreements, Airport Agreement, and Hosting Rights Agreement. Oversee the timely delivery of facilities, key sites, and services at a world-class level, aligned with FIFA and FIFA26 standards. Manage a FIFA26 team, including hiring, administration, and operations oversight. Track planning and operations, providing status updates and reports as required. Liaise with operational functional areas to ensure smooth operations at the Host City. Establish relationships with local authorities and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication. Coordinate with stakeholders for seamless integration of operational plans. Identify and mitigate risks related to venues. Contribute to project management, event debriefs, and knowledge activities. Organize official test events and manage on-site support during the tournament. Lead host city tours for staff, VIPs, and others as needed. Your Profile: University degree. Extensive management experience, especially in major event operations (minimum 10-15 years). Proven leadership, team building, and organizational skills. Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship management skills. Ability to work in a demanding, international environment and adapt to diverse cultures. Willingness to travel and work autonomously, with readiness for standby duties. Fluent in English; Spanish and/or French are a plus. Proficient in MS Office, planning software, and online collaboration tools. Senior Level:
