About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their Executive Team. The CFO will be responsible for leading and managing all day-to-day finance and accounting operations, grant compliance, and overseeing the human resources and IT group. This critical role involves working with the executive team to execute strategic planning processes and leading the evolution of finance, accounting, and related systems to support organizational growth and mitigate risk. The CFO will also be involved in cash forecasting, management, annual budgeting, and audits, as well as providing financial analysis and guidance to the executive team.

The successful candidate for the CFO position at the company will have a fulfilling and challenging role that includes overseeing the preparation and presentation of financial reports, projections, and analyses to the executive team, Board, and other relevant audiences. They will lead the financial evaluation and due diligence of potential growth opportunities and manage relationships with financial institutions, investment advisors, and other outside consultants. The CFO will also serve as a liaison for financial issues to the Board, participate in regular Board and committee meetings, and ensure compliance in all aspects of the organization. A strong financial oversight and perspective on contracts is essential, as is the ability to track organizational performance against strategic goals.
