Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for general warehouse tasks including receiving, auditing and handling of merchandise and materials. The Warehouse Associate may operate fork lift and perform many functions of a warehouse including picking, shipping, receiving and inventory control. Pull, audit and organize products to fulfill production orders. Pull and audit products to fulfill customer orders. Put away products into stock from production or purchase orders. Transact orders, materials and any stock movements. Train and assist others on process related material handling Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications
Moderate knowledge of warehouse operations. Competent in the use of shipping systems like UPS, FedEx and DHL. Operate various warehouse equipment, i.e. pallet rider, pallet jack or forklift/order picker. Proficient use of Windows based operating systems, MS Office and warehouse management systems. Possess good oral and written communication skills. Can execute difficult tasks per established procedures. Is cross-trained and competent on many warehouse tasks. Demonstrated ability to monitor and track difficult tasks in a dynamic environment. Capable of being proactive by recognizing delays or issues, and referring them to appropriate party for resolution. Demonstrated ability to assist others in completing work assignments. Capable of training others on processes Education/Experience
High School diploma or GED. 2-5 years of full-time job-related experience preferred. Previous Forklift certification preferred. About Hamilton
