The Estimator's Responsibilities Include: Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for commercial construction projects. Analyze project blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to determine material and labor requirements. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and budgets. Identify and evaluate potential cost-saving opportunities and project risks. Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing. Track and report on project costs and adjust estimates as needed throughout the project lifecycle. Provide support during bidding processes and contribute to contract negotiations. Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and construction methods.
