Sales & Business Development Coordinator

We're expanding our business development team and looking for a Sales & Business Development Coordinator who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and drive growth. This role is sales-first, strategy-minded, and execution-focusedideal for someone who's confident in cold outreach, proposal writing, navigating bids, and serving as the right hand to the National Director of Business Development. Position Summary
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and understands what it means to bring value to the table without being micromanaged. This position will support our pursuit of new contracts, client relationships, and revenue opportunities by organizing leads, executing sales strategies, and coordinating proposal activity from start to finish. This role is not administrative-heavywe are specifically looking for a sharp, sales-savvy operator who understands business development across government and private sectors and can represent our firm with clarity, confidence, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities
Support the National Director of Business Development in identifying and converting new business opportunities Perform daily lead generation and outbound outreach (calls, emails, social media) Coordinate and prepare RFP/RFQ submissions, capability statements, and supporting documents Source opportunities via BidNet, DemandStar, Sam.gov, VendorLink, and other procurement portals Maintain proposal and opportunity trackers, CRM systems, and sales reporting Create clean, branded presentations and proposals in Word, PowerPoint, and Canva Use AI tools like ChatGPT to draft outreach emails, proposal language, and marketing content Research new client prospects and compile competitive intelligence Assist in planning and executing business development events and networking opportunities Organize follow-ups, schedule meetings, and manage related communications Update and manage document folders, SOPs, and templates in SharePoint Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or proposal coordination Comfortable with outbound prospecting, networking, and cold outreach Knowledge of procurement, government contracts, and RFP processes Strong command of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint Highly organized and able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines with little oversight Demonstrated use of AI tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, or others Proficient in CRMs such as Airtable, Monday.com, Salesforce, or similar Confident, professional communication styleverbal and written Ability to work on-site daily in West Palm Beach and thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment You'll be embedded with high performers who value discipline, urgency, and clarity. You'll support the National Director of Business Development directly, engage with executive leadership, and work cross-functionally with the proposal and outreach teams.
