The Human Development Partner serves as a strategic leader, consultant, and change agent responsible for advancing organizational growth and professional development across Southern Illinois Healthcare. As a system-level influencer, this role identifies development needs, drives learning strategy, and creates meaningful, measurable programs that support SIH's mission, values, and workforce priorities. Reporting to the Director of Human Experience & Development, the Human Development Partner leads Growth & Development initiatives across hospitals, clinics, and departmentspartnering with leaders at all levels to close performance gaps, build leadership pipelines, and enhance employee capabilities. With the autonomy to design, implement, and evaluate development strategies, this role brings innovation, insight, and alignment to the work of learning and talent cultivation at SIH. Education: Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Education, Human Resources, Leadership, Business, or relevant field (Master's preferred) Licenses and Certification: Real Colors Certification & Hogans Assessment Certification preferred and willing to obtain 3 years of hire Experience and Skills: Minimum of 2 years of experience in learning and development, organizational growth, leadership coaching, or related experience supporting workforce development. ATD or similar industry-recognized certification in learning and development, talent development, or organizational development preferred and willing to obtain within 3 years of hire. Proven ability to design and implement large-scale training initiatives that achieve measurable outcomes Experience facilitating high-impact training sessions for diverse audiences (leaders, clinical staff, front-line employees) Excellent consulting, communication, and facilitation skills; ability to influence and build trust at all levels of the organization Strong project management and strategic planning skills; ability to work independently with high levels of accountability and innovation Familiarity with adult learning theory, leadership models, and change management principles required Healthcare experience strongly preferred Physical Activities: Intermittent hand manipulation required Intermittent lifting and carrying of 50 lbs. Role Specific Responsibilities: Organizational Growth & Development Strategy: Lead systemwide Growth & Development (G&D) efforts, guiding vision, initiatives, and implementation in alignment with SIH's strategic plan Conduct organizational learning and performance needs assessments to identify current and future skill gaps across clinical and non-clinical roles Consult with leaders to create tailored development plans that align with department goals, patient care outcomes, and engagement efforts Serve as an internal expert and strategic advisor on talent development, succession planning, and performance improvement Program Design & Delivery: Design, develop, and facilitate engaging, outcomes-based training programs for staff, leaders, and emerging talentboth in-person and virtually Develop learning content using instructional design best practices, ensuring accessibility, inclusivity, and practical application Implement and continuously refine leadership development frameworks in collaboration with organizational leadership Build blended learning solutions, microlearning, and cohort-based experiences that promote long-term growth and measurable results Partnership & Facilitation: Establish strong cross-functional partnerships with HR Business Partners, Nursing and Clinical Leadership, DEIB, Patient Experience, and Compliance teams to integrate learning into culture, operations, and engagement strategies Facilitate interactive learning sessions, coaching engagements, and focus groups to drive learning and connect insights back to system goals Represent Growth & Development initiatives on system committees and workgroups, acting as the voice of talent development Innovation, Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Use data, feedback, and evaluation tools to measure program effectiveness and guide continuous improvement efforts Monitor trends in healthcare education, adult learning, and workforce development to introduce new tools, technologies, and methodologies Recommend and implement creative solutions to address emerging development needs and support cultural transformation Compensation (Commensurate with experience): $66,144.00 - $102,523.20 To access our Benefits Guide/Plan Information, please click the link below: http://www.sih.net/careers/benefits
