Position Summary: This role is more than just a LINECOOK, it is the opportunity to join a family, and act as a brand ambassador for bridging cultures through food. Take our patrons on a culinary adventure through education, quality customer service, and make sure they have a positive experience at our restaurant. We are counting on you to be an extension of our brand.

A LINECOOK is responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to our restaurants standards while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

n

Job Responsibilities:

n

Be a team player and work together with your team to foster a healthy and warm atmosphere

n

Cook all menu items in accordance standards set by the Executive Chef

n

Prepare cooking ingredients and portions prior to service

n

Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure a smooth service period

n

Stores away delviered goods in appropriate location dollowing strong guidelines

n

Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area

n

Work closely and communicate clearly with our ktichen members

n

Attend all scheduled employee meetings

n

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

n

Fill in for absent staff as needed

n

Comply with health and safety codes

n

Qualifications:

n

Team player and positive attitdute

n

Positive interpersonal skills

n

Ability to work in a fast-paced environemnt wtih a mulitcultrual and diverse team

n

Able to acquire a California Food Handlers license and Sexual Harassment certifications (before or within 2 weeks of hiring)

n

Bilingual a plus

n

Line cook experience a plus

n
