We are looking for a passionate and client-focused onsite Project Engineer for engagement on significant projects in the Nation’s Capital.
nThis Project Engineer will assist the client’s Project Manager in matters related to scope, schedule and cost management, construction change orders, design reviews, and general technical support during design and construction of one or more projects. Specific tasks may include:
n• Coordination and reviews of Submittals, RFIs, and Potential Change Orders.
n• Field engineering and surveys
n• Recommending technical solutions and construction alternatives
n• Assessment of CPM schedules and network updates
n• Basic quantity surveys and cost estimating for construction Changes
n• Technical evaluations, client briefings and recommendations
n• Leading Quality Assurance efforts with emphasis on technical elements.
n• Interfaces with contractors and stakeholders during Commissioning.
n• Validating work completed for monthly progress payments.
n• Maintaining as-built drawings and conformed documents; and
n• Assisting in the resolution of project issues.
n• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction/Project Management. Waived for 10 years in the field of construction administration.
n• 5 years of construction experience
n• US Citizenship
